Why do we need to change the currency used today?
Have you ever heard old people say back when I was young things was cheaper? That is because money lose its value almost daily, no matter how strong your currency. Money also has one other disadvantage; it slows down technical and scientific advances. Did you know that if it wasn't for the cost factor, our mineral needs could have been satisfied by braking down clay, sand and rocks into their basic elements? If it wasn't for money sea water can be used to feed fresh water to drought striking area's. If it wasn't for the cost factor food could be produced in green houses, supplying tons of food to a ever growing population. One green house hector can produce more then double a hector normal farm land can. If it wasn't for money, the human race would have been living in space a long time ago. Did you know that a lot of new technology does not make it on to the world market, because its to expensive to produce or is bought over by competitors trying to safe their own profits?
But how will we replace money?
This will not happen anytime soon, because we as humans still have to develop more mentally. Neither will it happen over night, because the risk to peace and stability is far to great. The road to a money rich society will happen slowly. The first steps that needs to be taken is; stabilizing the value of money.
How can we stabilize the value of money?
The answer is very simple but is not wildly supported. A fixed value that does not increase, or decrease unless the local property, is upgraded or damaged, should be given to all property. (Houses, cars and so on) All local raw material like oil, coal, iron and so on, should also be fixed and can only gain value if its made into something else, or loss value because of purity. All raw food items should also have a fixed prise, only gaining value when processed or loss value when damaged or becomes undesirable.
Most people would say that this can not be done, because everything is controlled by supply and demand, but it is this very system that has failed us. The problem with the supply and demand system is that it can be manipulated, especially when it comes to products we need to survive. Oil companies can push there oil prises up as much as they like, because even thou you can refuse to buy it now, sooner or later you will have to buy it. The same goes for food, transport and housing. Some countries produce tons of food but will not place it on the world market to ensure that the prises remains high.
The advantage of government prising is that the inflation rate will dropped to almost zero, goods we need on a day to day basis will remain affordable and it will become easier to safe for items you need.
Government prising will also stop companies from, holding the general public at ransom. Imported goods will be forced to be sold at prises that is compatible with local goods, giving local suppliers a edge.
The poor will not become more poor. The quality of goods will improve, because when everything cost the same, people will only buy the better product.
But how will banks survives with out a blossoming stock exchange?
In the future, banks will only make money on capital lead, transaction sales point sales or renting of and service charges, which will increase in the not so distant future. Because of crime and counterfeiting, money in its fiscal form will disappear, replaced by a chip, or magnetic card. This chip or magnetic card with reduce armed robberies, and counterfeiting dramatically, because there is no money to steel or to counterfeit. It is also important that Governments take peoples religious believes in consideration and keep it as a card system and not a implant. Implants will also increase violent crime, since now you run the risk of losing a body part to criminals
It is these chips and magnetic cards that will provide banks with income every time you use it, and it could also be used in a new modern tax system and its records can be use by criminal investigates to catch criminals, it can also be use to eliminate all under handed cash transactions. It should be known placing any chip in a human may lead to possible infection or dismemberment of flesh by hackers to steal money
Ones we are able to take this very imported step, only then will we be able to take the next step to a capital rich world, or does this open the way for a spying government?
One fact however remains ones man starts to call space his home, money will no longer be used in any form, we will return to our old ways, all for one and one for all, because a community on a spaceship is nothing more then a ancient tribe where all resources has to be shared in order to survive.
