Have we ever been hit by meteors, asteroids and comets? Yes we have collided with meteors, asteroids and comets several times though out earths history. We are currently being hit by small meteors every single day, we call them shooting stars. Big meteors, Asteroids and comets hits however are very rare and very far apart.
Will a meteor, asteroid or comet hit earth in the near future? There are millions of eyes looking up into the night sky every day. No meteor, asteroid or comet has been spotted heading towards earths’.
However small meteors are almost impossible to see and can pack enough of a punch to take out a city the size of London
