What are solar storms? A solar storm is a temporary disturbance on earths magnetosphere caused by, coronal mass ejections, sun flares or coronal holes. This disturbance can result in damage to satellites, shorting out power grids and a really powerful solar storm can even cause damage to micro chips and magnetic strips. A super solar storm can in theory, shut down banks, power grids and wipe out all the information we store on computer systems. Basically it can in theory shut down the modern world. Have any technology been effected by solar storms before? Yes. Solar storms occur roughly every 11years and they differ in magnitude. Sometimes they only cause damage to satellites and on even more rear occasions they cause damage on earth surface. The biggest know solar storm was in 1859. This storm destroyed telegraph systems in Europe as well as in the USA. Scientists consider us lucky, because we where not as dependent on technology in 1859 as we are today. The seconded biggest known solar storm was in 1989. This solar storm was much weaker then the 1859 solar storm but was still powerful enough to shut down the hydro-Quebec power grid in Canada.
How do solar storms form? Because the sun like other stars is made up out of gas, the equator rotates faster then the poles. These different speeds results in the magnetic fields on the sun to twist and tangle. After a period of time these magnetic fields gets twisted and bend so much that they brake resulting in huge amounts of electronically charged partials being ejected away from the suns surface. During solar maximum (the period when the strongest solar storms occur) the sun reverses its magnetic poles. A large amount of people are under the impression that the sun also changes its direction of rotation during this period. This is not true; the sun does not change its direction of rotation during solar maximum. When will the next solar storm occur? Just like the weather on earth space weather is very difficult to predict. Making matters even worse is the fact that we have a limited understanding when it comes to space weather. NASA has predicted a massive solar storm in 2012, even bigger the one we had in 1859. However NASA has revised their prediction and now says we will have a below average size solar storm in 2013. The fact of the matter is that solar storms are very unpredictable and no one really known’s when the next solar storm will be and how large it will be. There is a theory that states that the suns poles only shifted halve way during the 2001 solar maximum. The reason why it is called a theory is because no proof of this has been found as yet. If this theory is correct it will explain why the solar wind is so weak at this point in time and why the suns magnetos sphere is so small at this point in time. This theory (if correct) will also explain why we have so little sun spot activity at this point in time. If this theory is correct; there could be three possible out comes during the next solar maximum in 2012/2013. The one is that the magnetic poles will make a 180degree shift resulting in another low solar maximum. The seconded is that the magnetic poles will return to the physical poles also resulting in another low solar maximum. The last possibility is that the magnetic poles could move over the physical poles and down back to the opposite physical pole resulting in the biggest solar storm we have ever recorded.
Are solar storms becoming more dangers? Yes they are. But why? The earths’ magnetos sphere is becoming weaker every year. The weaker the earths’ magneto sphere becomes, the less protection we have against solar storms
Do solar storms effect climate change on earth? A theory has been presented that suggest that solar storm does affect climate on earth. This biggest piece of evidence that has been presented in support of this theory is the little ice age. The little ice age was a period between 1645 and 1715 which also happens to be a period of low solar activity. This theory is however still being debated and no conclusive proof has been found as yet. There is also a second theory that suggest that the sun not only has a 11year cycle but a hundred thousand year cycle as well and it is because of this cycle that earth has a hundred thousand year ice age cycle. This theory has also not been proven conclusively. However we are currently approaching the end of the hundred thousand year period and conclusive proof may yet be just around the corner. Do solar storms lead to high seismic activity? Although there is clear evidence that there was high seismic activity before the last ice age, and most scientist agree that massive volcanic eruptions can trigger ice ages, there is no evidence discovered linking massive solar storms leading up to these periods of high seismic activity. What is a Super Volcano? A super volcano is a volcano that can eject more then a trillion tons of material in to the atmosphere. A super volcano eruption can be so big that it can cover an entire continent with ash and can change the entire planets climate for years to come. How many super volcanoes are there on earth? There are a few known super volcanoes on earth and there maybe many more. Because of their size it is very difficult to find and identify super volcanoes. Examples of super volcanoes are: 1) Vilama Caldera in Argentina, 2) Yellowstone long valley USA, 3) Valles Caldera USA, 4) Lake Toba Sumatra Indonesia, 5) Taupe volcano North island New Zealand, 6) Aira Caldera Japan.
Can super volcanoes case climate change? Yes they do. A super volcano ejects tons of material in to the atmosphere blocking out sun light. Super volcanoes also produce large amounts of SO2 which mix with water in the upper levels of earth atmosphere. This creates H2SO4 with blocks out shine and acts as a mirror and reflects sun light away from earth’s surface. After a super volcano eruption several years of cooling follows. Are there a super volcano preparing to erupt? Yellowstone super volcano has had several earthquake swarms over the last century. The earthquake 2009/10 has been one of the biggest and longest in recorded history. The earth above the volcano has been rising over the last few years, and at times part of the Yellowstone National park has been closed due to SO2 gas escaped from the earth. The USGS has released a report in 2010 that the Yellowstone magma chamber is much large the previous thought and it has a banana shape. The magma chamber is appearing to be rising in the North West right under the Teton fault line. The Teton fault line has have several earthquake swarms over the last few years, creating fears with some that a big earthquake on this fault line could open up the Yellowstone magma chamber. Several earth quakes where recorded at Yellowstone just after a big quake was recorded in Mexico, just south of the California border. This created fears that a big earth quake in California could damage and weaken the rock above the Yellowstone magma chamber. The USGS has reported that the Yellowstone magma chamber only contains 25persent melted material and that the volcano needs at least 50present melted material to erupt. Vilama super volcano is located in what volcanologists call a volcano nursery. This volcano nursery is located where the Bolivia, Chile and Argentina borders meet. The reason why the area is called a volcano nursery is because this area is connected directly to the San Andreas Fault line. In other words the San Andreas Fault line can supply this area with melted material over a relative short period of time. Vilama has been experiencing earthquake swarms similar to those of Yellowstone but no other information is available at this point in time. Aira super volcano located in Japan has had several eruptions over the last few years but all of them were small. Airas’ last super eruption was 22 000years ago. This however shows that super volcanoes do not always have big eruptions. Yellowstone and Vilama super volcano is widely considered to be the two most dangers active super volcanoes, but both of them are not showing signs of erupting at this point in time. Reason for rating: Yellowstone and other super volcano will erupt some time in the future, but they are all still considered to be safe; for now. All but one Vilama. Vilama is not showing any signs of erupting but Chili and Peru has been recording big earth quakes as of late. This could theoretically wake the sleeping Yellowstone twin. However we do not know how many super volcanoes are located on the sea floor.

Is climate change real? Yes climate change is very real and has been a part of earth’s history for years. Ice core records reveal that earth’s climate has never been stable in the past. Please study the Vostok ice core record below.
Is CO2 responsible for climate change? CO2 is a greenhouse gas and as you can see in the Vostok record above high levels of CO2 has always accompanied high temperatures on earth. However there are a few scientists whom do not believe that CO2 is driving climate change but that CO2 is only a product of climate change. The main idea behind their argument is that CO2 is released into the air from ice as the earth heats up during times of global warming. CO2 turns to ice at -78 degrees. The coldest temperature recorded at Antarctica was -89degrees, 11degrees colder then the freezing point of CO2. This fact resulted in the theory that, during the cold spells on earth as you can see on the ice core record above CO2 freezers and during warm periods like we have now CO2 is not removed from the atmosphere, pushing CO2 levels up. That is why high amounts of CO2 are always present during warm periods.
If CO2 is not responsible for climate change what is? The short answer could be the sun. NASA has discovered that all the planets and moons in our solar system are suffering from global warming. Mars even has clouds now, something that only started to show up recently. That on its own proofs that global warming is not confined to earth, and the only object that all the planets in our solar system share is the sun. Scientist has also theorist that the sun has a hundred thousand year solar storm cycle, just like the 11years cycle. If this theory is correct and the sun does have a hundred thousand year cycle, it would be much easier to explain the hundred thousand year cycle we can see in the ice core record above. The hundred thousand year sun cycle theory came to be because of the little ice age. Please look at the image below this paragraph. This image shows sun spot activity since 1610. As you can see; almost no sun spots were recorded between 1650 and 1700, the period in which the little ice age occurred. Take a closer look at the ice core record above. If you look closely you would realize that we are currently plus minus 6000 years over due for the next ice age. If the hundred thousand year sun cycle is correct, there should be extreme solar activity in our future. These solar storms will be strong enough to elevate the temperature on earth with 1 to 2degrees. This reason why we say this is because of all the areas on the ice core evidence mark with a red dot. In late April of 2010 NASA took an amazing video of one of the biggest coronal mass ejections ever seen. Lucky for us it was not pointed towards earth, but this is 2 to 3 years before solar maximum; could this be a prelude to what is coming in 2012/13? The earth will cool down again like it did for thousands of years. If you look at the ice core evidence, earth average temperature over the last thousands of years is actually 3 to 4 degrees cooler then now and we are currently living in a period which is an exception to the rule and not the rule. If ones should accepted that the ice core evidence are correct, earth will heat up first before the earth will return to its normal much cooler climate and unlike most scientist claim, we will not experience a 6degree warming. Is their anything else we can learn from ice core evidence? Yes there is, if you look at our image of ice core evidence, you will notice yellow dots. These yellow dots show us that climate change can happen with in a very short period of time. If this is correct it means that the theory that climate change takes thousands of years are not correct.
Can anything else excluding the sun and CO2 cause climate change? Yes ocean currents and volcanoes can also change our climate. Big volcanic eruptions and super volcano eruptions as well as several small volcanoes erupting at the same time can cool the earth down. This happens because volcanoes can pump large amounts of SO2 gas into the stratosphere, ones there SO2 combines with water droplets and create H2SO4. H2SO4 droplets act like a mirror and reflect the suns heat away from the earth resulting in the earth cooling down. The H2SO4 does not stay up there forever and is usually flushed out of the atmosphere with in a few years. Ocean current is an imported ingredient when it comes to weather conditions on earth. Ocean currents transport warm water from the equator to the poles and cold water from the poles to the equator, keeping weather conditions mild. Scientists believes that fresh water could bring the ocean currents to a slow down because fresh water is less dense then sea water and floats above the salt water. The ocean currents relay on cold water to sink in order to function but fresh water does not sink. UK scientist has recently claimed that the ocean currents are slowing down because of global warming and the large amounts of glacier melt. NASA satellites, has denounced these claims, as they could not detect any slow down of the sea currents. However NASA satellites did discover that the water on the sea bed is warming. Can Climate change lead to seismic activity? Theoretically it could. As the earth heats up; billions of tons of ice melts on land and empties out into the ocean. Earth has a plastic like mantle running right underneath the crust. In the event of a weight change, the mantle will pop right back up, much like a sponge when you remove a weight from it. This is known as post glacial rebound. Post glacial rebound can in theory place more pressure on fault lines which in return can lead to seismic activity. Will there be a world wide super flood? There are plus/minus 35 great flood stories all around the world, but there is no geological proof that the entire world has ever been flooded. If one consider the possibility that these stories was created by people whom most probably did not have satellites in space or even binoculars, one could come to the conclusion that to them a big flood that covered the entire world only had to be big enough to cover the area they could observe with the naked eye. How is tsunamis created? Massive Tsunami’s are normally created by earth quakes larger the magnitude 9, which occur with in the ocean. In 2004 on Boxing Day a magnate 9.1 created a Tsunami which killed nearly 230 000 people. Tsunami’s is not like normal waves, which crash on the land and pull back. Tsunami’s flood a land mass and can take up to hours before it pulls back this is because Tsunami’s is large brought waves which follow shortly after each other. Tsunami’s however is not just created by earth quakes but can also be created by large land slides, large meteor and large asteroid in pacts, large comet impacts and theoretically super volcano eruptions. Will any monster Tsunami’s happen in the future? Yes their will be monster Tsunami’s in the future. We just do not know when or where. A very likely candidate for a future monster tsunami that can destroy the North American east coast is located at the Canary Islands. Cumbre Vieja, a volcano located on La Palma, (One of the Canary Islands) will probably cause a massive Tsunami when it erupts. Cumbre Vieja has erupted several times over the last few hundred years. The next eruption however will be different. Over years of seismic activity the western part of the island have become unstable and will drop into the ocean if Cumbre Vieja erupts again. This mega ton piece of rock will created a massive Tsunami (1041ft high and 4.5miles broad) bigger the anything we have seen before. It will destroy large parts of New York, Washington and Boston. Will there be an ice age in the future? Yes there will be an ice age in the future. If you look at the image below you can see that the earth has had many periods of cooling, in fact one can even go as far as to say that we have been living in a 6000year period of grace, some mite even goes as far as saying that God has being keeping mankind safe for 6000years. Is seismic activity increasing? Seismic activity has three categories; earth quakes, earth moment and volcanic activity. Let’s start with earthquakes. Below is a table of all the earth quake activity in the last decade. There is no clear indication that earth quake activity is increasing. However if one study earth quake activity below magnitude 5, we can see a clear rise in earth quake activity. This could be an indication of bigger stronger quakes in the future since small quakes normally occur before large earthquakes. This however is purely speculation.

If one study earthquake activity over the last decade in the USA, one can see a very slight rise in earth quake activity below magnitude 5. This could be an indication that bigger quakes could be following in the future but ones again it is purely speculation.

There is no clear indication that earthquake activity is increasing. However if one look at earth's geological pass massive earth moments have occurred in the pass and will occur again in the future.
Revering to the graph below. There is a very clear indication that volcano activity is increasing world wide. The USGS says this increase can be contributed to the fact that there are more people living on the planet today then there where years ago and this is why it appears that there is an increase in volcanic activity because there are more people that can observe volcanic activity. This statement however does not hold much water since their are volcano observers whom have claimed that even is the last decade volcanic activity has still increase. In earth’s geological history it had periods which where a lot more volcanic active then earth is today and if it has happened in the past is will happen again. To make things on the volcanic front even worse NASA has detected that the ocean bed is heating up. This is not good news, since this could be an indication that the earth is heating up below. If the earth is heating up below, the magma below the earth crust will expand. All this extra magma will be looking for a way out and will result in volcanic eruptions.
Seismic activity also includes earth moment, although most earth movement is associated with earthquakes, earth movement can also so occur with out any quaking event. Examples of earth movement are the sinking of islands, cities, sink holes and weight displacement. Examples of islands that have sunk or are sinking are: Tonga group, Carteret Islands, Sundarbans, Examples of sinking cities are: Venice, New Orleans, Matsu Temple. Examples of sink hole are: Fairbanks in Alaska, all over Florida USA, Africa’s Great Rift Valley. Examples of weight displacement are: the melting of thousands of tons of ice all around the Polar Regions.

What is magnetic pole shift? Magnetic pole shift is when the magnetic north pole moves from the northern hemisphere down to the southern hemisphere. This happens on an average interval of 300 000years. The last Magnetic Pole reversal was 780 000years ago.
Is magnetic pole reversal deadly? No it is not. No mass extinction events have been found to match magnetic pole reversal periods. Neither has any asteroid, meteor or comet impacts been found which correlate with these periods. Magnetic pole reversals are also very irregular, which mean that no orbiting planet could be responsible for magnetic pole reversals. Unlike many people believe the earth also do not change its orbital direction, we know this because the sun has a magnetic pole reversal every 11years and the sun does not change its rotation direction during its pole reversal. The only danger magnetic pole reversals pose to us is during the period leading up to the magnetic pole reversal it self. Before the earths magnetic poles became reversed, earth’s magnetosphere weakens. As earths magnetosphere weakens more radiation from the sun and open space enters the earth’s atmosphere. This can lead to cancer and it worse case scenarios even mutations. It is not just the radiation that can become a problem. Are we entering a period of magnetic pole reversal? Yes we are. The earth’s magnetosphere has weakened with 10% in the last 150years. More evidence that we are currently entering a period of pole reversal can be found in South America where the magnetic field are currently moving from south to north and not from north to south like everywhere else in the world. The facts that we have not had a magnetic pole reversal in the last 780 000years are also an indication that we should have a pole reversal in the nearby future. Scientist speculates that magnetic pole reversal can take thousands of years, but if the sun is any indication, a magnetic pole reversal could happen with in a much shorter period. What is a pole shift? The pole shift theory is normal confused with the theory of continental drift, they are however two different theories. A pole shift is when earth changes the angle of the axes it spins on. At the moment earth is spinning in a plus/minus 23.4 degree angle.
How does a pole shift occur? There are four main stream theories on how this could happen. The most widely accepted theory on how pole shifts occur is based on that earth is very slightly of balance. This leads to the earth wobbling up and down between 22 degrees and 40 degrees over millions of years. The second theory suggests that earth can change its tilled over a short period of time due to a large high speed comet or asteroid impact. Proof of this mite be found plus/minus 800 million years ago when the earth axis move with plus/minus 55 degrees. A third and very unpopular theory suggest that if a large object passes close to earth, that it could have the ability to change earth's tilt, depending on which hemisphere is the closes to the large object. A fourth theory suggests that the galactic plain, galactic center, a brown dwarf star, black hole or any other large celestial object can also create a pool shift. The third and fourth theories will also result in large amounts of seismic activity on earth. A sudden pole shift can change earth's climate dramatically and will lead to mass extinction.

What is Nemesis? Nemesis is a theoretical brown dwarf star which theoretically is part of our solar system. There are two Nemesis theories today and two brown dwarf star theories, as well.
What are brown dwarf stars? The most accepted theory on what brown dwarf stars are is as follow: Brown dwarf stars are celestial bodies that are too small to support continues hydrogen fusion. There for they have a very small light out put. Brown dwarfs stars are general smaller then small stars but bigger then the planet Jupiter. The second and not widely accepted theory is that brown dwarf stars are formed after a star has gone supernova. Supernova is when a star becomes unstable and explodes. Generally one of two things is created after a star has gone supernova, a black hole or a neutron star. A black hole is generally formed when a super giant star goes supernova. A neutron star is formed when a smaller star goes supernova. The theory behind this brown dwarf star is that after the supernova a neutron star was formed, this neutron star pulled most of the material back towards its surface and started to reconstruct it self. Because of the neutron stars strong gravitational pull and high density, the star remains small and very little of the light and heat escapes the star. Over billions of years the neutron star center starts to expand and the neutron center is converted to hydrogen and a new star is born. This may explain why NASA could only find two brown stars orbiting normal stars while they found hundreds more brown dwarf stars orbiting each other.
What are the Nemesis theories? There are two Nemesis theories. The one theory says that Nemesis is a brown dwarf star orbiting our sun and every 26milion years it passes though the Oort cloud. This passing could lead to comets hitting the earth every 26million years. However no evidence of comet hits every 26million years has been found in the fossil record. However a dwarf brown star could be orbiting our solar system since this seems the help explain the very irregular orbits of the dwarf planets Eris and Sedna. Finding this dwarf brown star however is not as easy as it sounds, because brown dwarf stars are dark objects and there is a vast area of space that needs to be explored. The second theory on Nemesis says that the brown dwarf star is not orbiting us but we are orbiting it, with an elongate orbit of 26million years. If this theory is true we should be able to find Nemesis by look for is just below and just above our current direction of movement in space. If the theory proofs to be correct it would be able to explain why extinction events take place every 26million years and it will conclusively proof that we move up and down in the Milky Way and not over the Milky Way as some mite suggest. Nemesis according to this theory can create extinction events in a number of ways. These ways include, comet and asteroid strikes, gamma ray bursts, climate change (either warming or cooling depending on earths location in accordance with Nemesis and the sun), pole shifts ( If earth finds it self between the two stars), orbit shifts and extreme seismic activity. All of these methods will depend on where earth is in relation to the sun and Nemesis and how stable Nemesis is during the fly by. What is the galactic plane? The galactic plane referred to by 2012 theorists is the center of the Milky Way galaxy or its equator. Its does not refer to the center of the Milky Way but its vertical position in relation to the Milky Ways center.
Will we be crossing the Galactic plane in 2012? In the early 1960’s scientist calculated that we will cross the Galactic plain in 2012, but new calculations suggest that we have crossed the Galactic plain in 1998. This subject is however still open to debate.
Will a cataclysmic event follow when we cross the galactic plain? A few scientist argue that the galactic plain should have no effect on us since we are still the same distance from the Galactic center as we have been before and if we should be influenced by the Galactic plane we should have started to feel its effect as we approach the Galactic plane. Is there another way the galactic center could influence our solar system? Yes theoretical there is, the Milky Way center is not round but bar shape. When this bar points to our location in the Milky Way the center of the Milky Way will be several light years closer to us and its gravity will theoretically have a much greater effect on our solar system. This technique was used by the US air force during the Roswell incident. The only reason why we know that the US air force was using this technique is because the US air force recently released documentation on what really happened. 5) Propaganda. Propaganda was used to great effect by Hitler in the Second World War. The German population was very poor and broken after the defeat they suffered in the First World War. Hitler used the media, posters and pamphlets to show the people how he is helping them and promised if they follow him he would safe them all; with in a few years the Germans were willing to die for Hitler. The USA used the same technique before they invaded Iraq. The US army dropped millions of pamphlets over Iraq and send thousands of e-mails, promising to improve Iraqi lives. During the US and British invasion the world was amazed by the amount of troops whom surrendered with out putting up a fight. 6) Indoctrination. A child would believe anything and looks at his/her parents, television and the education system for guides. Ever wondered why people are willing to die for their faith. If a child is taught to belief something from a very young age, they tent to believe it for the rest of their lives.

How could a world war brake out in the near future? This is purely speculation and there are no hard evidence to poof anything in the segment. Our fist candidate for a world war has to be China. The reason for this is because China is a giant on the international stage and if there is any country to can trigger a truly world wide war it would be China. China has in resent years started to upgrade it standing army of 200million with more modern weapons. Most will however argue that China will rather decline going to war because they are only now starting to reap the benefits of wealth. Chinas economy has picked up drastically in the last few years; so much so that many are starting to view China as a world superpower and war will not be in their best interest at this stage. There is one point on which China will not move on and that is there view point on Taiwan. China have for years considered Taiwan to be a province of China and refuse to accept that Taiwan is a country on its own and not part of China. China has in the past tried to invade Taiwan but has failed. Taiwan is generally supported by the west because unlike China, Taiwan is a democratic state. If China sometime in the future decides to take Taiwan back with force and the west sides with Taiwan, a world war could well be on the charts. North Korea and Vietnam will alley with China and the remainder of the UN will most likely back the west.
Our second candidate for a world war would be Iran. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is currently the president of Iran, but he does not control the Iranian army and he is subject to the Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad provoked fear in many christen camps that he could be the antichrist prophesied in the bible when he said that we are living in the end times and that the Islamic prophecies will soon come to fulfillment. There are a few people that believe that Mahmoud Ahmadinejah will even go as far as to provoke a world war only to ensure that the Islamic prophecies do come to fulfillment. The fact is no one really knows and Mahmoud Ahmadinejah is not in control of the Iranian military. This said, at the moment Iran is in a face off with the USA lead UN. This face off started because of the Iranian nuclear program. This is not the first time that the USA and Iran had been facing off. During the Iraq and Iran war, which occur between 1980 and 1988, the USA supplied Iraq with weapons, to help the Iraqis to defeat Iran, but after 8 years of blood shed no victor amerced. At this moment the USA and his alleys have occupied Iraq on the Iranian western border and Afghanistan on the Iranian eastern border. The USA also allied Pakistan whom is also located on the Iranian eastern border. Iran is now totally surrounded by allied forces. Speculates are speculating that Iran is trying to win support from as many anti USA camps as they can find in order to help them if a war should brake out. They even when as far as to speculate that the tough stand the USA have taken against Israel in regards to the Palestinian issue, has only been taken to prevent the Islamic communities from joining the Iranian camp. Conspiracy theorist also says that Barrack Obama was helped to become president because of his Muslim background. Islamic nations will not willingly stand against a leader from an Islamic background. All of this is only speculation and no proof has ever been found.
Our third candidate is North Korea. North Korea has been an enemy of the USA since the Korean War. In the past they enjoyed backing from the USSR, but since its collapse North Korea was basically left to fetch for it self. North Korea has on at least two occasions launch a missile directed to USA soil. Both times the missiles fell far short. Most say this was only to get the USA’s attention so that the USA and North Korea could renegotiate the trade embargo which the USA has imposed on North Korea. Others are of the opinion that they where test launches, and that North Korea is planning on bombing the USA.

What is the pole drift theory? The pole drift theory is very similar to the pole shift theory. The only different is, that the tilled of the planet does not change by the land masses on the planet change. The theory basically reads like this: Earth is made out of 4 parts the, crust on which we life, the mantel, the outer core and the inner core. The theory states that like the magma intrudes the earth curst, the outer core intrudes the mantle, the outer core plums follows the earths magnetic field because the outer core is mostly made out of metal. After a period of plus/minus 3626years the weight of the mantle over whelms the power of the earth magnetic field and forces the material from the outer core out.
